Gar-Field High School hosted the Athletics and Activities Hall of Fame events for the fifth year, inducting six new members to its roster of former student-athletes, coaches, and others who have made an impact on the school and community. The event honored five exceptional athletes and a former principal of the school.

Leading up to this event, the school announces a call for nominees who have exemplified the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and moral character. The individuals selected also meet specific requirements based on their roles, including those student-athletes who are 10 years post-graduation, coaches who are retired and have at least one year of separation from the school, and contributors who served in administration, sports medicine, sports media, as an official, as event personnel, as an activity sponsor, or as a participant.

The new inductees, five of whom are former student-athletes and one a contributor, were honored at a halftime varsity football game and a luncheon and awards ceremony, where they or their representatives were presented with framed plaques bearing the Gar-Field High chenille letters and an engraved name plate.
