Student working on a circuit board during a Discovery enrichment summer camp

Students throughout the division came to Pennington Traditional School for two distinct yet equally exciting summer camp projects this summer. First, students designed and printed various products for their school store using a 3D printer and software. The project taught them the entire 3D manufacturing process, from conceptualizing, designing, and printing a product to creating marketing materials.

In a separate class, students learned coding and electronics by building a functional piano. Starting with a pre-printed shell, they learned the intricacies of circuitry, wiring, and coding to make the piano produce sounds. The hands-on experience was designed to enhance students’ technical skills while fostering problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Through these projects, students gained valuable skills that they can apply to real-world scenarios, preparing them for future challenges and careers.
