Students waving out the windows of a school bus on the last day of school

Dear PWCS Families, Employees, and Community,

Congratulations on another successful school year!

This school year has brought both challenges and successes, helping us move forward with our vision to see every student graduate on time with the knowledge, skills, and habits of mind necessary to create a thriving future for themselves and their community.

Thank you to PWCS students for your hard work and resilience. I appreciate our families for your partnership and support. I am grateful and inspired by our dedicated staff members. It is an honor to serve as Superintendent of this dynamic school division.

Building a strong school division is a collective effort, and the progress we have made toward our strategic goals reflects everyone's commitment to academic excellence in PWCS. Together, we will continue to positively impact our students, schools, and communities.

As the 2024-25 school year ends, I encourage everyone to reflect on our growth, cherish our relationships, and thank those who have made a difference in our lives. Now is the time to set new goals for the upcoming year and seek feedback for continuous improvement.

This is my last end-of week letter for the 2024-25 school year, but I plan to resume my letters just prior to the opening of the 2025-26 school year. Please continue to stay informed throughout the summer by visiting our website and connecting through our social media channels. Additionally, you can expect to receive back-to-school information from your school and information from the division later this summer.

I wish everyone an enjoyable and relaxing summer, and I look forward to the opening of a brand-new school year on August 18, 2025.

Sincerely,
Dr. McDade signature
