The Organizational Research and Evaluation (ORE) team members strive to serve as trusted advisors to PWCS colleagues, parents, students, and other interested voices seeking credible evidence for informing discussions and decisions about the division’s educational endeavors. In carrying out its responsibilities for evaluating PWCS’ operations, programs, services, and resources, the ORE team strives to hold to the highest professional standards outlined in the American Evaluation Association’s Guiding Principles for Evaluators:
Research and Program Evaluation regularly conducts surveys on behalf of the school division to gather input and feedback from stakeholders in the PWCS community. Prince William County Public Schools conducts annual surveys of staff, students, and parents in alignment with the Strategic Plan. Survey results are provided to principals and the superintendent's staff for use in continuous improvement planning.
