The Sustainability of Federal Programs team plays a key role in helping meet Prince William County Public Schools’ (PWCS) commitment to learning and achievement for all.

Our team works to ensure all students are provided access to high-quality instructional programs and services that align with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. A primary area of focus relates to programming for English learners.

What We Do

Our team works with school and division leadership teams to support and monitor high-quality programs and services and meaningful participation for all students in all PWCS, particularly for English learners.

How We Do Our Work

  • Collaborate with school leaders to improve programming and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Gather and analyze data to monitor program outcomes, support goal setting, and provide feedback on current strategies.
  • Promote clarity and organizational coherence among school leaders and division offices.
  • Visit schools to support the implementation of best practices.
