Tracy L. Blake was elected to the Prince William County School Board to represent the Neabsco District in November 2023. A lifelong advocate for children, families, and public education, he brings both professional expertise and personal experience to his role as a School Board member.
Tracy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lincoln University and a Master of Science in Applied Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University. As the parent of three children attending Prince William County Public Schools, Tracy understands firsthand the opportunities and challenges facing students, families, and educators. This perspective shapes his work to improve academic achievement, expand access to early childhood education and Career and Technical Education (CTE), support student mental health and well-being, and foster safe, welcoming learning environments.
Before joining the School Board, Tracy served on the Superintendent’s Advisory Council on Instruction and the Superintendent’s Advisory Council on Equity, experiences that deepened his understanding of the division’s instructional priorities and the importance of ensuring that every student has access to a high-quality education.
Tracy is committed to responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources, meaningful family and community engagement, and ensuring that every decision made by the School Board keeps students at the center. He believes strong schools are built through collaboration, transparency, and a shared commitment to preparing every student for success in college, careers, and life.
Tracy resides in Dale City with his family and is honored to serve the students, families, staff, and community of the Neabsco District.
