PWCS students in grades 9-11 will take the PSAT during the school day on Wednesday, October 14.
The Preliminary SAT (PSAT) provides students with an opportunity to practice for the SAT and measure their college and career readiness in reading, writing, and math. For students in grade 11, the PSAT also serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), and qualifying scores may make students eligible for National Merit Scholarship opportunities.
Students and families can learn more about the assessment, its benefits, scores, and available resources on the PWCS PSAT/NMSQT webpage.
Students are encouraged to become familiar with the assessment and practice before test day. PWCS provides test preparation resources, including links to practice opportunities and other tools students can use to strengthen their skills.
