Purpose

To provide independent and objective assurance, the Office of Internal Audit reports to the School Board's Internal Audit Committee.

Oversight of the Office of the Internal Audit lies with the Internal Audit Committee, which is comprised of three members of the Prince William County School Board. The members of the Internal Audit Committee are appointed during the annual organizational meeting of the School Board.
