The following core instructional resources were selected for the most enrolled languages, levels 1-3, by evaluation committees comprised of teachers, administrators, staff, and community members who are speakers/users of the relevant language.
These resources were purchased centrally through an initial adoption phase (based on current enrollment and staffing) to ensure consistent access to high-quality instructional materials across all schools offering the same language course(s) in the division
For less commonly taught languages, or advanced coursework within special programs such as Advanced Placement, Cambridge, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, teachers and instructional leaders select from among the available specialized materials to support their content, curriculum, and syllabi.
All instructional resources, whether core or supplemental, are selected in accordance with Regulation 653-1.
