Four students nominated for the 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program

Three PWCS students have been named Virginia nominees for the 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Congratulations to the following students:

  • Ali Gohar, Osbourn Park High School
  • Rania Lateef, Charles J. Colgan Sr. High School and The Governor’s School @ Innovation Park
  • Elizabeth Yeboah-Kodie, Charles J. Colgan Sr. High School

In addition, one PWCS student has been named a Virginia nominee for the 2025 Presidential Scholars Program in Career and Technical Education. Congratulations to the following student:

  • Ezekhiel Miller, C.D. Hylton High School

Each year, up to 161 students from across the nation are chosen as nominees for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Students are chosen based on their academic excellence, leadership skills, and community contributions.

U.S. Presidential Scholars are honored during the online National Recognition Program in June, where they receive a Presidential Scholar Medallion.
