Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) continues to prioritize academic support through its ALL In Tutoring initiative for grades 3-8, designed to accelerate student learning in math and reading. This program delivers small group instruction in consistent tutor-student pairings, fostering strong relationships and targeted learning.
Tutoring sessions are held two to three times per week, lasting 30-45 minutes, and span at least nine weeks. Instruction is guided by high-quality, standards-aligned materials and driven by student performance data, ensuring that each session meets learners where they are and helps them grow.
ALL In Tutoring made a powerful impact during the 2024-25 school year:
This impactful initiative reflects PWCS’ commitment to equitable access to academic support and continued student achievement. As we begin a new school year, ALL In Tutoring remains a cornerstone of our strategy to ensure every student thrives.
The program identifies students based on Virginia Growth Assessments and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt fall growth measures for third graders, and previous Standards of Learning scores for fourth through eighth grade students.
This year, the ALL In High Intensity Tutoring Program is looking to expand its reach—offering more tutoring sessions and creating greater opportunities for students to participate, thrive, and achieve their academic goals.
