Three Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) students have earned statewide recognition as Virginia nominees for the 2026 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, one of the nation’s most prestigious honors for high school students.

Congratulations to the following academic nominees:

  • Luke Davis, Battlefield High School
  • Chase Durgin, Charles J. Colgan Sr. High School

In addition, one PWCS student has been named a Virginia nominee for the 2026 Presidential Scholars Program in Career and Technical Education

  • Isabella Carneiro of Osbourn Park High School

Each year, up to 161 students from across the nation are selected as nominees for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Students are recognized for their academic excellence, leadership abilities, and meaningful contributions to their communities.

U.S. Presidential Scholars are honored during the online National Recognition Program in June, where they receive a Presidential Scholar Medallion in recognition of their achievements.
