Security and Crisis Readiness is dedicated to ensuring safe and welcoming environments for the students, faculty, and staff of the Prince William County Public Schools, and protecting the financial assets of the school division.
The Security and Crisis Readiness Department's hours are from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The Security Operations Center and Security Patrol Dispatcher have extended hours.
During regular working hours (Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.), all emergencies should be reported to the Security Operations Center at 571-222-4357. Internal callers from a PWCS landline can dial 9999.
The security patrol dispatcher is available for after-hours emergencies at 703-791-8805. The dispatcher is available Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.; weekend coverage begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and ends at 7:30 a.m. on Monday.
