AI is the field of computer science that deals with the creation of intelligent machines that can perform tasks that typically require human capacities, such as understanding natural language, recognizing objects, making decisions, and solving problems.
Generative AI is a tool that generates new content or outputs, often creating something new from learned patterns.
By harnessing the power of AI for learning in combination with good instructional practices, "we can create a more inclusive and equitable education system that enables every student to thrive." (Fitzpatrick, 2023)
