Professional Learning Conferences
Conferences hosted annually by the Professional Learning Department include the Excellence and Equity in Education (EEE) Leadership Conference and the Launching, Learning, Leading induction conference for new instructional hires.
Excellence and Equity in Education (EEE)
The EEE Leadership Conference is designed for administrators and teacher leaders to align the work of our vision, mission, and leadership to focus on our core business of teaching and learning through providing a full day of strategic and engaging learning sessions.
This conference serves as a platform to review the PWCS Vision 2025 Launching Thriving Futures Strategic Plan, account for the progress toward realization, and explore innovative strategies, share best practices, and foster collaboration in pursuit of a more inclusive and equitable education system.
Launching, Learning, Leading (LLL)
The LLL induction conference is designed for new certified hires joining the division each school year. The two-day conference begins on day one with a school-based orientation at the employee's assigned school/work location in the morning, followed by division-led sessions at a local high school in the afternoon. LLL concludes on day two with a full-day session for first-year educators.
