Families will enjoy an interactive read-aloud of Pepe and the Piñata, a delightful story that celebrates family traditions, culture, friendship, and community. Following the reading, participants will take part in a fun, hands-on craft activity inspired by the book. Join us for an engaging evening of storytelling, creativity, and family connection while discovering ways to foster a love of literacy at home.
Presenter for this session: Tracey Kyle is a Northern Virginia children's book author and retired Spanish teacher who taught Spanish and French for 30 years. She is the author of several picture books that celebrate language, culture, kindness, and creativity, including Alpaca Pati's Fancy Fleece. Through her engaging stories and school visits, Tracey inspires young readers to develop a love of books and learning.
