SACC Calendar and Hours

The School Age Child Care (SACC) calendar provides important information about program availability throughout the school year, including non-school days and program closures.

SACC is closed on school holidays, but remains open on most teacher professional development days and teacher workdays.

Camps are available during winter break, spring break, and the summer for an additional cost.

Hours

Monday – Friday

• Before-school care: 6 a.m. until school opens
• After-school care: School dismissal until 6:30 p.m.

SACC is not open on certain holidays and observances during the school year. See the dates below for when SACC is not available.

All currently enrolled SACC students may attend full-day SACC on Professional Development Days, Teacher Workdays, and Parent/Teacher Conference Days at no additional cost.

• The all-day program (6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) includes breakfast, lunch, and a snack.
• On these days, SACC program locations may be combined.
• Parents must pick up and drop off their children at the assigned host school.

When school is dismissed early, SACC is open from early dismissal until 6:30 p.m.

All currently enrolled after-school and before- and after-school students may attend afternoon SACC on those days. Before-school-only students may not attend.

There are no additional fees for early dismissal days.

Enrollment in winter break, spring break, and summer camps is available to all children currently attending Prince William County Public Schools.
