Research, Assessment, and Data Services Department (RADS) staff help Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) employees identify potential funding sources to bring new projects and programs to our schools.
RADS staff can help:
Find funding opportunities that best match a project or idea.
Brainstorm project ideas.
Analyze the grant application and review requirements.
Review and edit the proposal before it is submitted.
Teach grant-writing skills.
RADS also maintains PWCS' Grant Opportunities Database, a searchable directory of grant announcements ranging from $250 to $10,000. Each entry includes a brief description of the funding opportunity, the deadline, and a link to the funder's website for more information.
PWCS staff can visit the Grants Launchpad page for complete information and access to the database.
Regulation 333-1, "Administration of Grants," requires that an Internal Review Form and a final copy of every proposal be sent to the Grants Coordinator before its submission to the funder.
