Dear PWCS Families, Employees, and Community,

Congratulations, Class of 2026!

We are proud to celebrate our seniors as they don their caps and gowns and walk across the stage to receive their well-deserved diplomas. The future is filled with endless opportunities, and we have great confidence in the promise and potential of each graduate. Their journey reflects the strength of our vision: to see every student graduate on time with the knowledge, skills, and habits of mind necessary to create a thriving future for themselves and their community. Congratulations to all 2026 PWCS graduates.

For the seventh straight year, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation has recognized PWCS as one of the Best Communities for Music Education, a national honor that reflects our continued commitment to expanding access to high-quality music programs for all students. This recognition highlights the collective efforts of our dedicated music educators, school leaders, students, and families, and affirms the important role the arts play in supporting creativity, collaboration, and academic growth. Together, we are proud to see our commitment to music education continue to strike the right chord.

As a reminder, several apps that many PWCS families rely on are getting important updates. The provider of the ParentVUE and StudentVUE apps has released new versions of these apps, and the current versions will no longer be supported after June 30. In addition, the EZ A2B bus tracking app is transitioning to EZArrival. To ensure continued access to grades, attendance, and transportation information—especially during summer school and the 2026–27 school year—families should take a moment to download the updated ParentVUE app and StudentVUE app, and transition to the new EZArrival app.

PWCS is committed to a positive climate and culture in our schools. This commitment reflects our shared value of creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all students, staff, and community members. June is recognized as LGBTQ+ Pride Month, and in PWCS, we celebrate the many individuals who make up our learning community and reaffirm our core value of inclusivity to ensure every student and employee feels respected, valued, and supported each day.

As we approach the close of the school year, I invite our families to join in celebrating the many end-of-year events and recognitions taking place across PWCS. These moments offer a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments of our students, staff, and communities, and to celebrate all they have achieved this year.

Sincerely,
