Using Micro:bit devices, students will learn foundational coding concepts with block-based programming while exploring how hardware and software work together. Students design and build interactive projects—such as simple games, digital tools, or LED-based creations—while strengthening problem-solving, logic, and computational thinking skills. This is a beginner-friendly opportunity to help students build confidence with technology and discover how coding can be used to create, design, and innovate. Description: In this hands-on 3D Printing experience, students begin to think like engineers and explore the fundamentals of digital design and modern manufacturing through creative, project-based learning. Campers will learn how 3D printers work and use beginner-friendly computer-aided design (CAD) tools to design and print their own projects, gaining experience with the engineering design process as they plan, create, test, and refine their ideas. Guided by experienced instructors in a supportive environment, students develop problem-solving, spatial reasoning, and technology skills that connect directly to future technology, engineering, and manufacturing courses and careers.
