This seminar provides families with an overview of Section 504, a federal civil rights law that protects the rights of students with disabilities. Participants will learn about eligibility, accommodations, parental rights, and the support available to help students access and participate fully in their educational programs.

Does your student have a plan for life after high school? Join us to learn how transition planning helps students prepare for life after graduation. This session will cover the transition planning process within the Individualized Education Program (IEP), the development of meaningful, student-centered postsecondary goals, planning for high school courses that best meet the needs of postsecondary goals, and the support available to help students achieve their future vision.

Participants will learn about PWCS programs, community resources, and practical tools that support successful transitions to education, employment, independent living, and community participation. Resources will be provided.
