INCLUSIVE
MONDAY

THEME:  How do we empower and celebrate  differences?

ACTIVITIES:

  • Wear mismatched patterns to celebrate differences.
  • Make a list with your class of things you would like to see in your school to make it a more inclusive environment.
DISCUSSIONS:
  • Why do you think having student-led discussions are important?
  • What do you think inclusive school environments do for students?
  • How can you promote inclusion in your school?
RESPECT
TUESDAY

THEME:  How can showing respect to yourself and others create an environment of kindness?

ACTIVITIES:

  • Dress like a teacher or peer you have a lot of respect for, even make it a twins day!
  • Respect your school by taking time to clean up trash or organize your space.
DISCUSSIONS:
  • What are ways you show respect to others and your school community?
  • How does respect vary from person to person?
  • How can you stand up for someone or something if you see disrespect?
CARING
WEDNESDAY

THEME:  How can feeling and showing concerns for others spread kindness?

ACTIVITIES:

  • Wear a shirt or pin an uplifting message on your shirt.
  • Spread kindness by taking time to talk to someone you normally wouldn’t. Learn about that person and give a safe space for them to talk.
DISCUSSIONS:
  • What types of things could you do to care for yourself?
  • How can you show your peers that you care?
  • How has someone showing they care about you, impacted you?
RESPONSIBLE
THURSDAY

THEME:  What things could you do to show kindness, big or small, as part of your school?

ACTIVITIES:

  • Wear your favorite sports team gear to show you are a team player.
  • Participate in a kindness project at your school. 
DISCUSSIONS:
  • What are things you can get involved in to help your school/ community?
  • Why do you think we all need to be responsible for kindness?
COURAGE
FRIDAY

THEME:  In what ways can you be brave and help make kindness the norm?

ACTIVITIES:

  • Wear red or pink to get “red”y to make kindness the norm.
  • Create art, music or a writing piece that express your interpretation of courage.
DISCUSSIONS:
  • What is one thing you can challenge yourself to do each day to spread kindness?
  • How can you “agree to disagree” using empathy?
