About Lisa A. Zargarpur

Lisa Zargarpur is a graduate of Prince William County Public Schools. She earned her Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts degrees from George Mason University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Mary Washington, where she was awarded the honor of Teacher of Promise. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Virginia. Mrs. Zargarpur is a music educator and has served as an Equity Lead at her school for the past seven years, presenting workshops for Fairfax County Public Schools staff. She has also served as a mentor to both new teachers and student teachers. Mrs. Zargarpur and her husband, Yaqub, a local community and business leader, have three children who attended Prince William County Public Schools and graduated from PWCS.
