Keith F. Wolfe and Dr. Tanganyika H. Millard

Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) has appointed Keith F. Wolfe as associate superintendent for high schools, effective August 14, 2023, and Dr. Tanganyika H. Millard as management support director for high schools, effective August 21, 2023.

As associate superintendent for high schools, Wolfe joins Greg Hood in the role. Wolfe most recently served as executive director of secondary education and leadership for Spotsylvania County Public Schools, a position he has held since 2013.

As associate superintendent for high schools, Wolfe will collaborate with Hood in providing support and direction to the 13 comprehensive PWCS high schools, as well as alternative and specialty schools, and athletics and activities, with a total enrollment of approximately 29,000 students. This position serves as a member of the executive cabinet. Reporting to Hood and Wolfe, Millard will provide support to PWCS high schools and programs.

Beyond his most recent role, during his 30-year career in education, Wolfe has served in several roles including interim deputy superintendent, high school teacher, high school assistant principal, and middle school principal. Wolfe holds a master’s degree of education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a bachelor’s degree in science from Muskingum University.

Millard joins PWCS from Fairfax County Public Schools, where she most recently served as principal of West Potomac High School. During her tenure at the school, she increased the graduation rate from 89% to 95% and decreased the dropout rate from 8.3% to 3.3%. During her 28-year career, Millard also served as principal of Bryant Alternative School, as an assistant principal, sub-school principal, director of student services, administrative intern, school counselor, and high school teacher.

Millard holds a doctorate degree from The George Washington University, a master’s degree from Bowie State University, and a bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
