This is a list compiled for us by the teachers who are teaching local STEM camps for the summer of 2023. This is not an inclusive list but one supplied by the robotics coaches in PWCS.
Camp Invention
K-6 graders for Campers, 7th-9th graders for Leaders in Training, 10th+ for Leadership Interns. A place for the whole family to be part of the same camp. For more information about Camp Invention dates and locations, please visit the main Camp Invention website.
SeaPerch - Underwater Robotics (GMU - Manassas Campus)
George Mason University will be once again hosting free camps during the summer of 2023.
- SeaPerch camp is for 6th-8th grade, July 31-August 3 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- SeaGlide camp is for 9th-12th grade, August 7-10 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Both camps will be held at Mason's facility at 9485 Innovation Dr., Manassas, VA 20110.
Like last year, both are free. While we’d prefer not to have repeat campers in the same camp (e.g., it’ll be largely the same structure as last year), we definitely welcome younger siblings to apply and/or applications from SeaPerch alums aging into the SeaGlide camp.
