Prince William County Public Schools (PWCS) is the second largest school division in Virginia. The division serves more than 90,000 students in 100 schools and learning centers. Our 12,800 dedicated staff include more than 6,800 teachers. Students and parents speak more than 144 languages and represent 121 countries.

Our mission to launch thriving futures for our students is achieved in part through collaboration, quality professional learning, the use of instructional technology, and the advancement of literacy and wellness.

All qualified PWCS high schools are ranked in the top 9% of high schools in the nation, according to The Washington Post's "America's Most Challenging High Schools" list (2018).
