Registration
Registration forms for the GED® program are available through the Counseling Office, please contact your school counselor. The registration form will be forwarded, by the school to the Student Management and Alternative Programs Department. A pre-test is given to each student who requests enrollment.

While there is no tuition cost to the student for enrollment in the GED® program, participants pay for the Official GED test. The cost of the state GED exam is $120. Students will register for the GED test through their MYGED accounts and take the exam at a Pearson VUE testing center.
Program Requirements
- Students must be 16/17 years old to be eligible for the program and must be enrolled in Prince William County Public Schools.
- The student must be able to show proof of part-time employment (or approved volunteer work or internship).
- The student must be able to provide a valid, government-issued photo identification.
