Agriculture
Agriculture students engage in a hands-on curriculum designed to develop the necessary knowledge, skills, habits, and attitudes for entry-level employment and advancement in areas such as greenhouse and nursery production, landscape design, and turf management. This nationally recognized program includes a four-year program of study:
- Horticulture Sciences
- Turf Grass Establishment and Maintenance
- Landscaping I
- Landscaping II
Students also receive instruction in leadership development and are provided opportunities for leadership through Future Farmers of America (FFA), the CTE student organization for Agriculture.
Note: Applications for this program are open for rising 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students.
Program Type
Transfer Program – Students participating in this program will transfer to the program location for all courses and activities. Express Bus Transportation is available to accepted students living outside the program location boundaries through Specialty Program Transportation.
